The standard delivery service for all teak root coffee tables and teak root dining tables up to 1.4m is a palletised service. This means that responsibility for transporting the item from the palletised kerbside delivery to your property is the customers (please refer to delivery information and FAQs for additional information).  

The standard delivery service for all teak root dining tables larger than 1.4m is a 2-person team who will deliver the item into a ground floor location in your property. It is the customers responsibility to ensure that there is sufficient access and parking to enable the delivery to be successfully completed. As a minimum this will require access to park at least a long wheelbase van at your property or immediately outside of it and at least 74cm width access into and throughout the property with no sharp turns.  

 Please advise our customer support team of any potential internal and external access or parking restrictions so that we can support in trying to ensure a successful delivery first time. 

The base of all teak root table is a single item of crafted furniture. The glass tabletop is fully removable.

There is no need to treat reclaimed teak bowls, plates or teak root furniture items. However, if you wanted to enhance the natural colour and grain then we would recommend applying a small amount of coconut oil using a clean cloth.

Using coconut oil on teak root tables aids to maintain moisture in the wood and help limit any such movement as well enrich its colour.

As a natural product your teak root table is likely to change over time depending upon usage, care, and the natural aging process of the wood. Within the first 12 months the wood in the teak root tables will acclimatise to the environment that it is in. This means that when placed into a warm and dry and environment further drying will occur to the wood and may result in some grains opening and cracks appearing. This is natural movement and rarely affects the structural integrity of the table.

If you have a chosen a natural product, such as reclaimed wood, teak root or live edge furniture from Field & Hawken then we believe that you have made a fantastic decision, but we would like to remind you that as a natural product the look of them will vary from the images online with no two items the same.

This means that natural markings and openings in the grain are all part of their natural beauty and structure. Our products all go through a quality check process before they are despatched to ensure that they meet our high standards for our customers and that any markings or cracks are not deemed to be detrimental to the structural integrity of the item.

As part of our process we will provide customers with images of available teak root bases for the product ordered to select the one that is right for your home.
