The individual slabs are sliced from a single Suar tree, sometimes known as ‘The Rain Tree’, it is a prolific and sustainable source of timber from Indonesia. These live edge slabs are left to dry out naturally, are then kiln dried, and then any bark or loose material is gently removed, leaving behind the natural shape of the original tree.
