The reclaimed teak 1.2m oval 4 person dining table from Field & Hawken is a wonderful table due to its characterful wood and careful crafted construction. The reclaimed wood in our furniture has been rescued from old industrial buildings and homes in Indonesia before they are demolished and typically the wood being recycled to create these impressive tables is over 100 years old resulting in each table being unique to another. The table has a textured wood table top, showcasing the woods natural grain and ridges. This has been carefully sanded to retain its character but provide a smooth and long lasting surface.
Working directly with longstanding suppliers in Indonesia, Field & Hawken are proud to be able to provide these individual dining tables directly to the UK and Europe from wood that otherwise would have simply been discarded, maintaining our commitment to seeking the finest in sustainable furniture. The reclaimed wood is crafted together by skilled craftsman to create tactile and unique dining tables with stunning detail to the support legs.
The table arrives in two main sections, and spreader bar with the table top simply requiring fixing to the base using the fixings provided.
